CONSULTATIONSWe offer both an appointment and walk-in service.Dr Kien has limited appointments and will see all walk-in patients. Drs Mandy and Angela offer both appointments and walk-ins. We do not provide certificates or reports for work compensation or any third party claims. SCRIPTS & REFERRALSPatients must attend for scripts and referral letters as this allows appropriate medical checks and accurate information to be given. On special occasions (such as attendance in the past month with recent relevant medical check), a script or referral may be requested without consultation. Fees will apply.RESULTS & REPORTSWe request that patients attend to discuss results with their treating doctor. This allows direct and accurate communication of medical information and a proper treatment plan to be made.MEDICAL STUDENTSDr Kien is actively teaching final year medical students. Please inform reception if you wish not to have medical students present during consultation with Dr Kien. |
MEDICAL RECORDSYour medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.This practice uses computer-based medical record filing system. If you need to transfer your health records to another medical practice please inform our reception. PHONE CALLS & HOME VISITSRegular patients who have difficulty attending the surgery can call and request a home visit. Fees may apply.During the day, our reception staff will take phone calls and leave a message for the doctor to contact you at a later time. We aim to avoid disturbing individual patient consultations, so only on special occasions are calls put directly through to the doctor. RECALL SYSTEMSFrom time to time, recalls and reminders are sent to our regular patients. If you do not wish to be enrolled in such recall system, please inform us. |
